The business unit is set up to deliver against the objectives of UCAS charity and operate UCAS Media (UCAS’s commercial subsidiary) to help fund UCAS’s charitable operations. For the charity, our objective is to provide everyone with the information, advice and guidance they need to make informed decisions on their next steps. We deliver on this via our media ecosystem which consists of information, advice and guidance on ucas.com, our social media feeds across various channels, email, live events and webinars.

 

For UCAS Media, our business objective is to generate revenue through paid collaborations with higher education providers who wish to improve their position in the market, and commercial brands who want to reach students. All brands wishing to use our media ecosystem and insight services must align with our framework. All profits generated are gift aided to UCAS the charity and in turn fund the charitable objectives, such as our recent announcement that students in receipt of free school meals will no longer need to pay the UCAS application fee.

About the role

To support the sale, service, and delivery of UCAS’s rapidly growing display and programmatic proposition. The post holder will communicate with clients and UCAS sales teams to consult, build and optimise campaigns for the best results. The role will work closely with the client services team and digital operations teams to deliver a seamless product experience for our customers. The display team deliver hundreds of campaigns which are across the ucas.com estate inventory.

 

Key accountabilities:

  • Work closely with Client Services to collate and interpret campaign briefs for upcoming campaigns, translating information into the ads manager.
  • Use time management skills to manage a broad range of priorities, from campaign management to advising sales on inventory.
  • Have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that campaigns are set up effectively and optimised for success.
  • Support internal incoming media planning queries, technical questions and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Use technical skills to identify ways to improve and escalate campaign success through targeting, set-up and optimisations.

Skills, qualifications, and experience

  • 1+ years’ experience of digital marketing related role.
  • Effective planning, co-ordination, and time management skills.
  • Process driven, logical thinker.
  • Working knowledge of excel and manipulating data for reporting.
  • Able to meet deadlines and perform under pressure.
  • Proficient in communicating via email and face-to-face.
  • Highly motivated to learn and grow.
  • Good experience of using CRM.
  • Desirable if Salesforce has been used before.
  • Experience working on Google Ad Manager is favourable.
  • Experience building programmatic display campaigns is favourable.
  • Experience using Google Analytics is favourable.

Salary - up to £25,000
